Watkins Ludlam Winter & Stennis, P.A. has been recognized again as a top Mississippi law firm in Chambers USA: America's Leading Business Lawyers, a recently published directory listing the nation's leading business practitioners across a variety of legal areas.

In the 2004-2005 edition of Chambers USA: America's Leading Business Lawyers, Watkins Ludlam Winter & Stennis, P.A. was ranked #1 for its Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Real Estate practices. The Firm's Litigation practice was also recognized in the publication. Shareholders David B. Grishman, David L. Martin, Thomas B. Shepherd III and Zachary Taylor III were included as top attorneys in the Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions practice category. Shareholders Mark T. Davis and Jim B. Tohill were included as top attorneys in the Real Estate practice category.

The 2004-2005 edition of Chambers USA is the second publication of the book focused on the United States. Chamber & Partners also publishes Chambers UK and Chambers Global and is designed to reflect market opinion. Entry in the guide is based solely on market recommendation. Researchers spent a year canvassing clients and lawyers across the U.S. to obtain a consistent market view of which firms and attorneys are considered leaders in their field. Over 4500 telephone interviews and tens of thousands of comments were collected. The qualities on which rankings are assessed include technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial awareness/astuteness, diligence, commitment, and other qualities most valued by the client.
