A Gulf Coast native, Mr. Waters returns to Mississippi after having spent many years in Tampa, Florida, where he was a shareholder with Fowler White Boggs & Banker.  He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi (B.A., summa cum laude, 1990), the University of Mississippi School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 1993), and New York University (LL.M. in Taxation, 1994).  Mr. Waters was awarded his Certified Public Accountant certificate in Mississippi in 1990 and is a member of the American Bar Association, Harrison County Bar Association and The Mississippi Bar.  Mr. Waters focuses his practice in federal, state and local tax planning; entity selection and formation; mergers and acquisitions; reorganizations, like-kind exchanges and related contracts.
