Watkins Ludlam Winter & Stennis, P.A. is pleased to announce that Kristina M. Johnson  has completed certification requirements and been accepted by the American Board of Certification (affiliated with the American Bankruptcy Institute) for certification in Business Bankruptcy Law.  She is one of only five attorneys certified in Business Bankruptcy Law in Mississippi.

Certification requirements include an exhaustive one-day exam similar to the bar exam, completion of an extensive application detailing experience in a variety of bankruptcy matters, submission of thirty (30) case samples, and peer reviews from twelve (12) non-WLW&S attorneys composed of seven (7) who were familiar with Mrs. Johnson’s practice and five (5) who had been opposite Mrs. Johnson on Commercial Bankruptcy matters.  From beginning to end, the certification process spanned 12 months.
