Janet McMurtray will be joining the firm as Counsel in the Litigation Practice Group in the Jackson office.
 
Janet graduated from the University of Mississippi, cum laude, in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration, where she was a Carrier Scholar, a National Merit Scholar, a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, Mortar Board and the Debate Honorary Society.  In 1984, she graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law, magna cum laude.  She was an Eastland Scholar and served as a research editor of the Mississippi Law Journal.
