THOMAS W. CROCKETT AND ROBERT B. HOUSE, SHAREHOLDERS IN OUR JACKSON OFFICE, HAVE BEEN SELECTED TO LEAD AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION COMMITTEES.

Thomas W. Crockett, a shareholder in our Jackson office, has been selected as Co-Chair of the Dispute Resolution and Family Function Committee of the American Bar Association for 2001-2002. Crockett will lead the committee that makes recommendations on ways that alternative dispute resolution methods, especially mediation, can be made available and used to alleviate the high monetary and emotional costs of litigating family dispute issues. Crockett, a graduate of the University of Mississippi and Harvard University Law School, is a member of the firm's litigation practice group.

Robert B. House, a shareholder in our Jackson office, has been selected as Chair-Elect of the Public Regulation of Insurance Law Committee of the American Bar Association's Tort and Insurance Section for 2001-2002. House will work with the committee to address issues involving insurance regulatory matters at the state and federal level. House, a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law, is a member of the firm's insurance and financial institutions practice group.
