WILLIAM F. WINTER, SHAREHOLDER OF WATKINS LUDLAM WINTER & STENNIS, P.A. CHAIRMAN OF ADVISORY COMMISSION ON THE MISSISSIPPI STATE FLAG AND THE MISSISSIPPI COAT OF ARMS.

Jackson, MS- As announced earlier, the Advisory Commission on the Mississippi State Flag and the Mississippi Coat of Arms will hold public hearings on the following dates in the following locations:

Thursday, October 19th, 7:00 p.m.: Itawamba Community College, Tupelo Branch
The public hearing will be held in the University of Mississippi Advanced Education Center's Auditorium.

Thursday, October 26th, 7:00 p.m.: Meridian Community College, Meridian
The public hearing will be held in Room 240 of the Health Center.

Thursday, November 2nd, 7:00 p.m.: Mississippi Delta Community College, Moorhead
The public hearing will be held in the Fine Arts Auditorium.

Thursday, November 9th, 7:00 p.m.: Gulf Coast Community College, Jefferson Davis Campus (Gulfport)
The public hearing will be held in the Fine Arts Auditorium

Monday, November 13th, 7:00 p.m.: Millsaps College, Jackson
The public hearing will be held in the Recital Hall of the Academic Complex.

Citizens will be asked to comply with the following guidelines for these public hearings:

All citizens will register at the door and will provide their name and address.

Citizens who wish to speak during the hearing will register to do so at the door beginning at 6:30 p.m. The moderator will recognize citizens to speak in the order in which they registered.

Each organization may designate one representative to speak on behalf of the organization.

In order to ensure equitable time for all citizens wishing to give comment, citizens will be asked to contain their comments to three (3) minutes.

Citizens may file any written statement or relevant document(s) with the hearing moderator.
