William V. (Chip) Westbrook, III has joined the law firm Watkins Ludlam Winter & Stennis as a Shareholder in the firm's Gulfport office. Chip is a long time resident of Gulfport and has practiced law on the Coast since 1984. Most of his career in private practice has been spent with the White and Morse firm and the Bryant Dukes & Blakeslee firm. Chip previously served as Special Assistant Attorney General for Mississippi from 1977 to 1983. Chip focuses his practice in business law and serves clients in both litigation defense and transactional matters. He has a broad range of experience in the banking, construction, gaming and health care industries, and represents a number of governmental, condominium, and subdivision clients.

Chip and his wife, Patricia Lehman Westbrook, are active in the community including leadership roles in the Westminster Presbyterian Church and the Gulfport Yacht Club.
