Our Firm has a long and respected history of representing governmental entities in Mississippi. We are general counsel to many types of government entities, addressing questions involving construction contracts, procurement, real estate, personnel, redistricting, elections, intergovernmental relations, and general municipal law. We also serve as special counsel to school, hospital, economic development, community college and drainage districts and various municipalities and counties throughout Mississippi to render opinions or advice on a variety of subjects, working closely with local attorneys.

The Firm regularly handles litigation in areas presenting liability concerns to either to a governmental entity or to its officials or employees. Our Firm's representation includes successful defense of matters arising in the civil rights or constitutional law context, including claims asserted pursuant to Title VII, 42 U.S.C. § 1983 or 1985, the Fair Labor Standards Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, CERCLA.
