• Development of life, health and casualty insurance policies to comply with the insurance statutes and regulations of a number of states.

• Reinsurance contract negotiation and drafting and obtaining insurance department approval.

• Formation of purchasing groups under the Federal Liability Risk Retention Act and qualification of the purchasing groups in several states.

• Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association representation.

• Representation of rehabilitators and liquidators of insolvent insurers.

• Representation of insurers and HMOs before the Mississippi State Tax Commission with respect to premium tax, retaliatory tax and other tax matters and disputes.

• Government relations and legislative matters.
